Waldmann fountain pens: Elegant pens in perfection

It all began in 1918: The Waldmann company produced for the first time high-quality mechanical pencils made of precious materials such as silver and gold. Thus began the triumphal procession of one of the most traditional German companies in the middle of the jewelry metropolis of Pforzheim in the tranquil Black Forest.  Waldmann combines an elegant, timeless design with innovative techniques, visibly elaborate workmanship, and selected materials: Waldmann uses 925 sterling silver, gold and platinum, making Waldmann fountain pens a writing instrument and status symbol in one. The name Waldmann has always been considered as an expert for extraordinary surfaces, individual engravings, and above all for exclusive fountain pens.

Waldmann fountain pens - the first successes

The success with its mechanical pencils was the reason for Waldmann to produce fountain pens and ballpoint pens in the future - and this quickly attracted the attention of international companies. Especially specialists from the jewelry industry became aware of the young company. Waldmann fountain pens are regarded as valuable collector's items because they are individually manufactured for customers all over the world.

With engravings, special designs and numerous special editions, Waldmann fountain pens have become collector's items. A vivid example is the 150th anniversary of the "America's Cup" sailing competition. Especially for this occasion, Waldmann brought out a fountain pen made of pure silver, which captivates with its unique design: the fine waves engraved in silver were coated ten times with blue enamel varnish and the latitudes were engraved by hand into this fantastic work of art. This fountain pen from Waldmann was released in a limited edition of only 150 copies and achieves today top prices.

Exquisite fountain pens from the Black Forest

Fountain pens and other selected writing instruments made in Germany: Waldmann produces exclusively in Germany at the company's headquarters, in the traditional jewelry and gold town of Pforzheim, on the edge of the tranquil Black Forest. Outstanding unique pieces are manufactured in more than 30 work steps by experienced employees. With a lot of patience, time and craftsmanship the surface is processed, the nib produced and brought to perfection with engravings. All these make a Waldmann fountain pen a special and unique item.

It can take up to half a working day for the engraver to turn your Waldmann fountain pen into a personal favorite item in the highest perfection. With their years of experience, the employees at Waldmann master their traditional craft to perfection - and as the owner of a Waldmann fountain pen, you are holding a piece of quality work in your hand. Every fountain pen that leaves the Waldmann factory undergoes a detailed quality control. During this process, the employees personally inspect each individual piece and ensure that the nib works perfectly, that it glides silently over the paper and delivers a flawless writing. Quality is a top priority at Waldmann - and that is why the company gives a ten-year guarantee on all its writing instruments.
